Why are they all represented like this?
Well, lets use the example that all black people commit crimes, the media like to portray them like this very slightly, just to get the message across, for example when there's crime taking place, it'll often be a black person doing it, they've not directly said that all black people commit all the crimes, they've just overused the fact that the person doing the crime happens to be black, and so we take in these 'building blocks' and end up thinking that every black person ever is responsible for all the committed crimes, although we know that this is not true by any means, and so it becomes a stereotype. Which again, we know is not true by any means.
